Belinda Dunstan...

BASICS
Full Name: Belinda Abigail Dunstan.
Belinda: The meaning of this name is not known for certain. The first element could be related Italian bella "beautiful". The second element could be related to Germanic linde "soft, tender".
Dunstan: Derived from the Middle High German dunst "haze".
Birthdate/Age: 25th of May, 1976. Almost 25.
Blood: Halfblood.
Marital Status: Single.
Sexual Orientation: Straight.
Appearance: Standing at 5'6", Belinda is of average height, neither tall nor short. At 120 lbs, she had a healthy figure. She is not stick thin, but has plenty of womanly curves, especially with her hips and breasts. Being an avid fan of hiking and other sports, Bee is in relatively good shape, with especially shapely but muscular legs. Her most striking features, in her opinion, are her wavy blond hair and her brilliant almond-shaped hazel eyes, which fluctuate between green, brown, and the occasional hints of blue depending on her mood. Having been raised by a Muggleborn mother, Belinda tends to favor Muggle clothes when not at work. She's usually a jeans and snug-fitted tee sort of girl, but also likes to wear sundresses and flowing skirts. Like many women, she has a weakness for purses, of which she has many, and also shoes, though she doesn't wear heels as often as she'd like. She never knows when she'll have to chase after someone to get an interview! Bee has found that Quidditch players tend to respond well to a pretty witch, so when she's on the job, she usually makes sure to wear makeup that accentuates her features, and also well-fitting clothes. If it helps her get an interview, she's all for it!
LIFE
Schooling: Hogwarts; Gryffindor - 1987-1994
Occupation: Quidditch Reporter for the Daily Prophet. But she's looking to branch out into other fields.
Residence: A one bedroom flat on: 38 Floral Street, Covent Garden, WC2. Belinda has decorated her flat in warm, earthy tones with lots of comfortable plush furniture, hand-woven rugs, and numerous plants that she manages to keep alive.
MAGIC
Wand: 12", Ash, Raven Feather Core.
ASH TREE (the Ambition) - uncommonly attractive, vivacious, impulsive, demanding, does not care for criticism, ambitious, intelligent, talented, likes to play with fate, can be egotistic, very reliable and trustworthy, faithful and prudent lover, sometimes brains rule over the heart, but takes partnership very seriously. -Source.
Magical Strengths: Charms, Herbology, Defence.
Magical Weaknesses: Transfiguration, Divination, History of Magic.
Boggart: Being buried alive. Bee is slightly claustrophobic.
Patronus: Hummingbird.
Special Magical Abilities: Bee has a very keen sense of whether people are telling the truth or not. Whether that's magical, she has no idea.
PERSONAL DETAILS
Personality: Bubbly, energetic, and constantly moving. These are words often used to describe Belinda Dunstan, and they're completely truth. Belinda is full of boundless energy. She seems to be constantly moving, doing, working or talking, and rarely likes to sit still, except to sleep. While most people like to rest during their time off, Belinda spends her free time hiking, or walking around London, or even rearranging the furniture in her flat, which she likes to do on occasion. Some people might find her constant energy annoying, but Bee's constant smile and positive attitude usually win people over. Even strangers are often taken in my Bee's happy grin and friendly attitude.

Besides being happy and full of energy, Bee is also incredibly curious and perceptive. Once something catches her interest, she'll investigate it to the fullest of capabilities. Her curiosity and related determination sometimes have interesting consequences: in the investigation of something, she might become so involved that she actually becomes interested in it on more than just an investigative level. In Hogwarts, for example, she began researching Quidditch in order to impress a Gryffindor player *cough*OliverWood*cough* that she had interest in. Somehow that developed into an honest love of Quidditch (though she doesn't play) and her eventually becoming a Quidditch reporter. Her perceptiveness, and ability to somehow know whether people are lying, is a useful skill for a reporter, especially one who interviews players who can run the gamut from possibly too open, to incredibly closed-up. Another of Bee's qualities that helps with her choice of occupation is her skill at writing and her fluency in words. Belinda has never had trouble saying what she means in a way that everyone can understand.

With her friends, Belinda is the life of the party. If you want to have fun, she's guaranteed to be in on it. In school, this sometimes led to her getting into trouble, most notable that time when she arranged a co-ed pyjama party after midnight in the Gryffindor common room and woke up Professor McGonagall several times. Belinda is incredibly loyal to her friends, however, and will always be there when they need her. If she finds out that someone is hurting one of her friends, she is quick to leap to their defence, her abundance of energy sometimes carrying her overboard.

At her job, Belinda is a hard worker, even more than she might normally be, because she's a women in a man's world. Her colleague's in the sports department tend to treat her like an idiotic girl, though they've grown accustomed to her over the years. As is the usual with mostly-male occupations, most of Belinda's career advances have been followed by "rumors" of her sleeping her way to them. The men she worked with, however, quickly learned that Bee wasn't the type to put up with their nonsense, and now mostly keep their comments to behind her back.

On the more negative side, Belinda can occasionally be moody, especially when she feels she's been cooped up. Try not to upset her when she's been trapped in the Daily Prophet offices all day, as she's liable to be a bit snappy. On those rare occasions when she is forced to sit still during Prophet meetings and the like, Belinda is very fidgety and has an incredibly short attention span. She rarely can focus on what is actually being discussed, because she's too concerned with getting a move on. This often had an adverse effect on her studies in Hogwarts, especially if it was a boring subject (like History of Magic).

Likes: Quidditch, fit Quidditch players, shoes, purses, dogs, hiking, nature, feeling exhilarated, running, her friends, dancing, bars, shopping, apples, lemonade, following a hunch, writing.
Dislikes: Stubborn people, boring things, sitting still, being treated like an idiotic girl by her male colleagues.
Quirks/Habits: Twirls her hair around her finger when she's thinking, is constantly fidgeting or moving.
FAMILY
Family:
Mother: Cordelia Dunstan (nee Hardwick). Born 1956. A Muggleborn witch who grew up on a farm in Shropshire, England. Cordelia being the youngest of five girls, her parents had always thought of the "strange things" that happened around her as Cordelia's bid for attention. They were stunned, however, when an 11-year old Cordelia received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and a visit from a staff member of the school to explain everything to the confused Muggle family. Shortly after, a very happy Cordelia set off the Hogwarts, where she was quickly sorted into Hufflepuff. In her sixth year, Cordelia fell in love with the brave and dashing Graham Dunstan of Gryffindor. After leaving school following her 7th year, Cordelia and Graham became engaged. Upon their marriage a few months later, they moved into a townhouse in Camden, London. (See more in History). Cordelia is a stay at home mother who spends most of her free time working in her garden in the back yard.

Father: Graham Dunstan. Born 1955. Graham is the oldest son of the Dunstan family, a "fullblood" family whose Wizarding blood goes back several generations, but not enough to be considered pureblood. Graham's family was unsurprised when their son received his letter to Hogwarts and was subsequently sorted into Gryffindor. Graham was relatively popular in school, being both handsome and intelligent, and was also one of the star writers of the Hogwarts newspaper. He was followed into Gryffindor by his younger brothers Joseph Dunstan (b. 1957) and Henry Dunstan (b. 1958). Graham dated one or two girls during his time at Hogwarts, but the moment he met Hufflepuff Cordelia Hardwich in his 7th year, he fell in love. Immediately after Cordelia left school, he proposed, and they were married shortly after. The pair moved into a townhouse in Camden, where Graham went to work as an intern at the Daily Prophet. He soon moved up through the ranks to become one of its best writers, especially at uncovering scandals and breaking events. Graham was up for an Editor position at the Prophet in 1999, but decided that reporting was no longer for him. He retired from his job, and took to writing a series of novels following a fictional reporter who solved crimes. Of his three children, Graham always thought Bee took after him the most, and he wants nothing more than for her to be a star writer. He sometimes thinks her talent is wasting writing Quidditch reports.

Sister:: Rebecca Dunstan. Born 1978. Rebecca is much more like her Mother than her sister is. Quiet, but very loyal and hardworking, Rebecca was sorted into Hufflepuff in the same year as Cedric Diggory. Now 22, she run's Cordelia's acres on the old Hardwick Farm in Shropshire where she grows Magical plants and herbs for potion makers and more.

Brother:: Chase Dunstan. Born 1982. Chase Dunstan is just as energetic as his sister, but puts his energy into sports, unlike his father or sister. Like Bee, Chase was sorted into Gryffindor, though he was two years behind the trio. In his sixth year (the year after the Battle of Hogwarts), Chase tried out for the Quidditch team and finally gained a position as a Beater. Now 18, Chase was recently signed as a reserve beater for the Falmouth Falcons.
HISTORY
History: In the early fall of 1975, Cordelia realised she was pregnant with her first child. Belinda Abigail Dunstan was born on the very warm day of May 25th, 1976, and she hasn't taken a rest since. Even as a child, Belinda was constantly crawling, exploring and playing. Her favourite place to play was outside in the backyard, crawling amongst her Mum's garden and pretending she was trekking through the jungle or a fantasy forest. Belinda's imagination had always been active. When Rebecca was born two years later, Belinda had hoped to find a playmate, and she did, at least on occasion. Rebecca, however, was much more quiet than Belinda, more inclined to sit in the garden and quietly play with the plants than dash around the yard attacking evil sorcerer's and uncovering secret plots.

It wasn't until Belinda's younger brother Chase was old enough to play with her that she found a companion who could keep up with her. Unfortunately for Belinda, Chase was six years younger than her, and just around the time he was old enough to play, she had gotten her letter to Hogwarts and was off to school on the Hogwart's Express.

Not at all to her parent's surprise, Belinda was sorted into Gryffindor, like her father before her. Belinda, being an overly outgoing and happy girl, made friends with whoever she could, boys and girls alike. Her excessive energy got her into a bit of trouble in class, but overall she did well. Her imagination and constant energy also got her into trouble outside of class, as she roamed the castles exploring. Her boundless energy and constant need to be doing something, combined with her first name, led to her classmates giving her the nickname "Bee", which stuck.

Belinda's time at Hogwarts proceeded rather normally, until her third year. That was when Belinda Dustan discovered boys. Of course, she'd always known that boys existed, it was just that now she really saw them. Instead of just people that were fun to talk to, and run around with, she saw them as fit, attractive, and fun to flirt with. Belinda's first major crush began towards the middle of her third year, and is still going strong today. The focus of this attraction? Oliver Wood. The moment Belinda decided she liked Oliver Wood, she went about finding out what he liked. That was one of the easiest things she'd ever had to find out: Quidditch. Immediately, Belinda took out the school's copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, and began learning all she could. She tried her best to get into conversations about Quidditch with Oliver, which seemed to work, except for one problem. Oliver seemed to be much more concerned with Quidditch than pretty blond girls who batted their eyelashes at him while discussing the finer points of flying.

Belinda dated a couple of other wizards during her time at Hogwarts, but nothing serious, and none ever quite managed to overcome her crush on the still-oblivious Oliver Wood.

Belinda left school in 1994, and after spending the summer at home with her family, Belinda took up a position at the Daily Prophet as a "intern", thanks to her Father's influence. Basically, at first, she did grunt work for almost no pay, fetching coffee and files and occasionally typing things for other reporters. In the fall of 1994, Belinda attended the first task of the TriWizard cup. She was devastated that it had occurred the year after she'd left, because she definitely would have entered (and, as far as she thought, kicked butt.) She continued to attend the following tasks, and so was present when Harry returned with Cedric's dead body after the final task. Belinda was stunned.

Though she wasn't in Hogwarts anymore, her sister and brother were, and that summer they quickly filled Belinda and her parents in on what Dumbledore had explained about Cedric's death, and Lord Voldemort. Unlike many families, who either refused to believe or simply did not want to believe, the Dunstan's put their trust into Albus Dumbledore, who as far as they were concerned had never led anyone astray in the past.

As the War began unseen around them, Belinda continued on at the Daily Prophet, though she disliked the articles being posted by the paper. It was her distaste for such articles, and her belief in Dumbledore's truths that held her back at the Prophet. Eventually, during the early spring of 1996, she was promoted to junior staff writer and stuck with writing the most boring pieces possible, including obituaries (of which it seemed there were more and more) and silly nonsense articles.

Belinda became more and more worried for the safety of her family, especially her brother Chase, who was still attending Hogwarts (not that he had any choice, thanks to the regulations). When word came at the Prophet that fighting was going on at Hogwarts, Belinda rushed to the assistance of her brother. Though he had been told to flee, Chase had returned to the Battle with his friends, Colin and Dennis Creevey. Belinda charged into Battle trying to find her brother. Eventually she found him and Dennis clustered together over Colin's unmoving body, trying desperately to defend themselves. Belinda burst onto the scene, firing a hex that knocked down the attacking Death Eater, only to have her brother turn to her, tears in his eyes as he tried valiantly to say they'd been doing fine.

Soon the battle was over, and Belinda was comforting her brother, who was devastated over the loss of his friend. Belinda also saw Oliver Wood at the Battle, a fact which reminded her of her feelings for him, but she was too distracted for him to be anything but a fleeting thought. All Belinda cared about was getting her brother home safe.

After the trauma of the Battle had passed, Belinda went back to work. The Prophet was cleaned up a bit with the help of the new Ministry regime, and Belinda finally got a job she actually liked, as a cub reported for the Quidditch Department. Thought Bee had to put up with the constant annoyance of her all-male colleagues, she's managed to persevere, and is now a full-fledged Reporter, known for her weekly articles about Quidditch teams, players, and games.

Even so, Belinda has lately found herself aching for more. Quidditch is fun, as far as she's concerned, but sometimes she wonders if she wouldn't like to try something different.

As for her love life, Belinda has dated one or two wizards in the past few years, mainly Quidditch players thanks to her occupation. But through it all, a familiar yet unrequited crush has stayed in her mind.

carpet cleaning Well, this is actually true. When you have children, you always think about cleaning. For instance, you clean your carpet more regularly, because you are afraid of the bacteria, germs, dirt and dust that usually live in the fabric. Another, important cleaning task that lots of mothers do is the cleaning of their children’s toys and here are some tips, given by London cleaning professionals that will help you with this job. carpet cleaning London
